Apologies for locking this project down again, but it is an alpha. It's currently undergoing a closed beta, so please be patient, it will be back.
* Don't use Linkage005; it was added accidently and is too fat and will drag on the sides.
This conversion kit allows the use of AR-15 style rifles in a magazine up orientation; similar to common early light machine guns before widespread adoption of belt-feeding (Stoner 63, Bren LMG, ZB vz. 26, MAC 24/29, Madsen machine gun, Type 99 light machine gun, Mendoza RM2, Vickers–Berthier, Hotchkiss M1922, Breda 38, etc.).
Unfortunately, my designs for a straight pull trigger were unsuccessful, so I had to resort to a simpler one. To actuate, it's now a push forward with your finger type of deal. If this isn't acceptable, I can continue experimenting if the people wish.
Inverted collapsible pistol brace is being posted seperately for a short period before being merged together. Not quite happy with it, but is serviceable for the time being; will continue making improvements. A printable sighting system is also in the works.
Materials Required
1. #8 - 32 x 1 1/2 inch = 3 pairs nuts and bolts. Used for securing the trigger guard, trigger guard clamp, and pistol grip. Will require modification to be flush fit.
2. #8 - 32 x 3 inch = 3 Nuts, 2 Bolts. Used for trigger shoe and linkage assembly. Possibly needs a 4th nut.
3. #10 - 32 x 1 inch = 1 pair nut and bolt. Used for attaching a pistol grip of your choice to the pistol grip part. Originally a non-changeable proprietary pistol grip.
Initial release. As of build 2022-06-03_17-17, still a work in progress, subject to change.
