The Freedom Co Mac Upper is a printable MAC-11 upper design. The printable upper shell is combined the following parts to complete the upper:
- MAC-11 bolt
- MAC-11 barrel
- 2x Freedom11 trunnions by 1776 Supply
- Allthreads, lock nuts and other hardware
A complete build kit containing all required hardware listed above, as well as the hardware for the Project Obsidian lower, can be purchased from 1776 Supply Co: https://www.1776supplyco.com/product/limited-edition-obsidian-complete-build-kit/
Instructions for assembling this upper can be found on page 5 of the Project Obsidian Guide included in this release.
This upper can be used with several lower designs, including:
- Project Obsidian
- MacMommy
- Frank and Beans
- Project Lotus
At this time this upper is not considered compatible with designs that use aftermarket uppers (such as the MacDaddy, Mac n' Cheese, Sumac, etc.) - however, it may be possible to create a special adaptor which will allow the use the Freedom Co Mac Upper with these designs.
