The Shroud of Darkness for the Maxim 9

Much like a silencer provides sound discipline (reduced sound signature), the Shroud provides light discipline (reduced light signature). The Shroud helps reduce the lateral light signature from a mounted pistol light while still illuminating or blinding your intended target for positive identication and stun effect before you slip back into the darkness. It also streamlines the appearance for your Maxim 9.
When used with the right rail listed below, also relocates the pistol light to within easy reach of the firing hand.
Not intended as an EDC / self defense item. Not everyone will understand the purpose of this item... And that's ok.

This is the version I took to the range and tested myself. I am working on some improvements including more secure attachment and will update soon. When used with the right rail listed below, also relocates the pistol light to within easy reach of the firing hand. Requires this rail or one made to the same specs:
